Pulleys and belts
GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO PULLEYS AND BELTS
Belt transmission refers to motion transmission between two distant shafts. Pulley and belt are the essential elements of a belt transmission system. The pulley consists of a disk rotating around its own axis and it can feature one or more gorges to insert the transmission belt.
A wide standard selection of rubber or polyurethane, long-length or closed ring belts and aluminum, cast iron or steel pulleys is available from stock or in 24h.
To completion, pulleys can be supplied with holes, slots, set screws, bearings housings, seats for locking assemblies, obtained from timing bars or customized to drawing.
If need be, it’s also possible to make heat and/or surface treatments like anodizing of aluminum pulleys, phosphate and zinc coatings on cast iron and steel pulleys, etc.
