Conical gears
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Conical gears are the used gear type for power transmission between concurrent, not parallel, axis. Unlike cylindrical gears, teeth on conical surface don’t feature a constant section, but their size continuously decrease towards the smallest parts of the gear, allowing for angle power transmission.
At our company, the most common conical straight and spiral toothed gears are available. The first with straight teeth profile are easier and low-cost to produce, the latter feature a more silent and smooth sliding due to gradual engagement with load being always distributed on two or more spiral teeth. The offered range includes all commercial standard sizes, available in C45 steel, stainless steel or thermoplastic materials. In addition, it’s possible to require drawing-based components.
