Hiwin production includes rotating nuts for ballscrews, especially FSCR1 and FSCR2 models. They both feature the same advantages.
Ballscrews with Hiwin rotating nuts feature a unique and compact design where the nut integrates with a support bearing. This not only allows for easy installation by screwing the nut into housing directly. Indeed, such integrated and compact structure also offers greater rigidity and reliability, preventing possible backlash during rolling. Noiselessness is another benefit of this special design: steel balls circulate within the nut and high-speed functioning noise is lower than standard ballscrews.
These ballscrews have dual use: either fixed shaft and translating nut or fixed nut and translating shaft. In case of fixed shaft, this will not produce any inertial effect thanks to a high dynamic responses. Therefore, it’s possible to select a lower power motor to meet needed dynamic requirements.
Thanks to the above-mentioned features, Hiwin rotating nuts are perfect for special applications requiring the use of ballscrews, such as semiconductor industries, robots, wood working machines and laser cutting machines.
